My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Brian, a 10-year-old small breed mix with a heart full of love and a zest for life that’s totally contagious! 🐾 He may have a little salt in his fur, but don’t let his age fool you—this little guy is still full of pep and personality. Sweet, smart, and always up for an adventure, Brian is the kind of dog who reminds you that age is just a number. With his charming little trot and curious spirit, he’s a total joy to be around! 💫

Brian loves his walks and gets excited for every outing, whether it’s a stroll around the block or a leisurely backyard hangout. He gets along great with other dogs and enjoys having furry friends around. He’s not the biggest fan of kitties, so a cat-free home would be best. But when it comes to people and pups, Brian is all about making connections and sharing good vibes. 🐶

This delightful little gentleman is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines—ready to start the best chapter of his life. 🏡 If you’re looking for a loyal, low-maintenance companion who’s still got plenty of love and light to share, Brian just might be your perfect match. Come meet him and see how golden the golden years can truly be! 💛

More about this rescue

The vision of Animal Compassion Team has been years in the making, shaped by hard work, heartbreak, and an unwavering love for animals. Despite the challenges, we chose this path because saving lives matters—it's that simple. Every dog, cat, and animal we rescue reaffirms our commitment to making a difference. In August 2009, we took a leap of faith and became a 501(c)3 non-profit, ready to turn hope into action. Each life saved makes every effort worthwhile, and we look forward to sharing countless happy endings.

Our Mission Statement
To provide a safe haven for animals of all breeds and species through rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, and sanctuary. To advocate for humane treatment, promote the human-animal bond, and educate about kindness, compassion, and responsible pet ownership, emphasizing spaying and neutering. Together with other rescues and shelters, we strive toward a no-kill nation.
