8/4 - meeting friend from Connecticut next weekend to see if they want to adopt him.
Dasher is a 4-year-old, 25-pound Aussie mix full of love, loyalty, and playful energy. He’s been a cherished part of our family for the past four years and has been great with our three young children for most of that time. He loves fetch, cuddles, walks, and being near his people—he’s happiest when he’s part of the action!
True to his Aussie roots, Dasher has strong herding instincts and can get overstimulated by loud noise and high activity. Recently, he nipped one of our kids during a particularly excited moment. While it was an isolated incident, we’ve come to realize that our busy, kid-filled home just isn’t the best fit for him anymore. We’re heartbroken, but we want what’s best for him.
Dasher currently lives with a large dog brother and does well with other dogs in the home after a proper introduction. He is housetrained, neutered, up to date on vaccines, and takes anxiety medication as needed (such as before vet or grooming visits). Dasher would thrive in a calm, adult-only household where he can relax, feel secure, and be his loving, loyal self.
