Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bear – A Big-Hearted Boy Looking for Adventure and Affection
Bear is the kind of dog who greets life head-on—with a wagging tail, an eager heart, and just enough puppy-like charm to keep you smiling every single day. A young Pit Bull mix with energy to spare and love in abundance, Bear is ready to find a forever home that matches his zest for life.
Think of him like a teenager in dog years—curious, playful, and learning fast. He’s already mastered the basics like sit, lie down, and shake, and he’s fully potty trained. Whether you’re off to work or running errands, Bear waits patiently, knowing his people always come back. And when they do? He’s ready to snuggle, nap by your side, or roll over for a belly rub—especially if you let him crawl into bed for some extra cuddles.
Bear thrives on activity. He’s happiest on a hike, during a long walk, or chasing his favorite toy in the backyard. A securely fenced yard would be his dream come true, but he’s smart and willing to learn with structure and support if your setup is different.
Social and sweet, Bear has shown real promise with other dogs—he’d love a pup sibling, doggy playdates, or daycare buddies to burn off steam and build confidence. As for cats, he’s curious, but that relationship is still developing and would need supervision and patience.
At his core, Bear is looking for what every dog wants: a home that sees his heart, embraces his playful spirit, and gives him the kind of consistency and care that allows him to be his very best self. He’s equal parts protector and snuggle bug, a joyful mix of adventure and affection.
Could Bear be your perfect match?
Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
