🐾 Meet Ritz! 🐾

Ritz is a sweet 3-year-old Lab/Hound mix who has spent over 100 days waiting at the shelter. Despite his gentle heart, he was constantly overlooked. The longer he stayed, the more shut down and depressed he became – he desperately needed a chance to feel loved again.

Now that he’s out of the shelter, Ritz is finally showing his true personality. He’s a major couch potato who loves nothing more than curling up with you to watch TV or nap the day away. When he’s outside, his favorite thing is rolling in the grass and soaking up the sunshine.

He’s the perfect laid-back companion who just wants a comfy couch, a soft blanket, and someone to love him forever.

We are located at 1740 W. Gordon Street, Valdosta GA 31601. We are right down the road from Ellianos in Remerton. We invite you to come see our cats at our office, Monday through Friday, 9am to 2pm. Call 229-247-3266 to confirm.

More about this rescue

The HSVLC is a non-profit organization that only rescues animals based on available foster homes and funding. All of our dogs and some of our cats live in foster homes. Loving families have taken them in and are caring for them until they find their furrever home. We also house many of our cats at our office location. We have four cage free rooms dedicated to housing our resident cats. You can stop by our office during business hours to visit our residents or contact us in advance to schedule a visit with one of our fosters.
