My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Desty!

Trying to guess Desty’s breed mix is a bit like solving a fun mystery—maybe Black Mouth Cur, maybe Shepherd, maybe a dash of hound—but one thing’s certain: she’s 100% wonderful. This 4-year-old sweetheart is a happy-go-lucky girl who approaches each day with enthusiasm, tail wags, and a love for adventure.

Desty is a star on leash and loves joining our volunteers for hikes and long walks, happily taking in every interesting scent along the way. When it’s time to relax, she transforms into a top-tier snuggler who soaks up affection and gives it right back.

One of our volunteers recently took Desty “home for the day” and couldn’t stop talking about how well-behaved and respectful she was—an absolute delight to have around.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who blends fun and affection perfectly, Desty’s your girl. She’s ready to bring love, laughter, and a few mystery breed guesses into your life!
