I’m Franklin, a handsome brindle-coated fellow with an adorable dappling of white on my face.
I came to the Humane Society of York County as a stray from the York area. I’m a medium-to-large size guy, a mixed breed of about 55-60 pounds, and my estimated birth date is March 2017.
I have that perfect middle-age mix of pep in my step, but also I love my chill time. I love my walks at HSYC and have a definite skip in my step when I get out the door!
I’m a heartworm warrior who fought through that terrible disease and I’m all clear on my health now thanks to lots of TLC at the rescue.
I’m also a graduate of Zoom Room, where I was an excellent student and learned useful skills like sit, heel and down.
Most of all, I love people! I enjoy my walks and playing with toys, but I dearly love my human friends.
