My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Louie, Louie, Louie. We absolutely love this guy! He is big. He is fun. And, best of all, he is loyal. Louie, a very sweet American Bully mix, is about 2 years old, 75 pounds, and sports a cropped tail. Louie is a happy-go-lucky dog who craves human attention, love, and companionship. He very much wants to please his human. Louie would benefit from an adopter who will not only give him love and kindness, but also guidance and training to improve his overall use of basic commands. He is very treat and toy motivated which is a bonus.

Louie seems to like pretty much everyone and seems to settle easily into the home. He loves to run around and play in a fenced yard, so a secure yard is a must for him. Louie is very strong and will need some additional training on the leash due to pulling from excitement. This dog is best suited as an only dog. Louie is housebroken and crate trained and is approved for households with adults and children over the age of 12;  he could easily knock young children over due to his enthusiasm. Louie will make an amazing loyal companion to the right family.

This dog has been examined by licensed veterinarians, provided inoculations, tested for diseases, neutered, and microchipped. ADOPTION APPLICATIONS need to be requested from  acaringplace@comcast.net   Our online application is not working properly.

More about this rescue

A Caring Place, is an All Breed Dog Rescue organization that is exclusively foster based (no facility) and is volunteer run. We rescue dogs and puppies from animal control facilities, dog pounds, and other shelters where they are at risk of euthanasia. In addition we take in dogs surrendered by their owners who can or are no longer willing to care for their dog. Each dog this rescue takes in receives all medical care and treatment necessary to be healthy, and then place them into loving temporary homes (foster homes) until adopted. Without our foster care provider's, we could not save these dogs.

FOSTER CARE PROVIDERS are always needed!
