My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you’re looking for a dog who will adore you with her whole heart, Polly is your girl. She may take a little time to size up new situations, but once she knows you’re her person, she becomes a loyal, affectionate companion who sticks right by your side. With just a bit of patience at the start, she’ll reward you with devotion, silliness and so much love.

Polly is a fun, spirited girl who enjoys chasing balls and rope toys, showing off her zoomies and splashing in a kiddie pool on hot days. She’s also been an office dog, happily napping between play sessions and cuddling with her favorite stuffies. Smart and eager to please, she walks nicely on leash, knows “sit” and “trade it” and is working on new commands and building confidence meeting new people.

Polly is becoming more excited about making dog friends, too. She’s had successful playgroups and could really bond with the right canine companion. If you have doggos at home, bring them along for a meet and greet.

If you’re hoping for a loyal, loving dog, Polly just might be your perfect match. Come say hi today!

A team member says, "Polly is a sweet girl who thrives on affection and playtime. She would make a great hiking/walking partner."

Another team member says, "Polly is a delight - once she knows you're a friend, she's playful and friendly. She has a sense of humor, too - her signature move is to juke at the last moment when she's returning a ball or toy to you during fetch before turning and bringing it back to you. (She'd make an excellent running back.) She's a smart girl who's very treat-motivated and eager to please."
