Mississippi is a social, dog-loving sweetheart who’s so good with other dogs that our behavior team often brings her into play groups to help assess newcomers. She may start out a little forward and playful, but she’s excellent at reading the room and quickly adjusts her energy — offering gentle, submissive face licks to help shy pups feel safe and welcome.

She’s spent time in foster and has mastered the important stuff: relaxing in her crate, enjoying leisurely walks, and soaking up love from humans of all ages. While she appreciates a good lounge session, she’s happiest when she’s with her people and her dog friends.

Mississippi was brought to APA!'s clinic to lose a little weight and get some lumps and bumps checked out. Now that they are behind her, she’s feeling great, and now she’s ready for the best part — meeting you.
