My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gorgeous girl Sage was rescued near Occidental College in Highland Park with her mom and siblings. Everyone else from her little family have been adopted and she'd love to find her forever home as well. Sage is a sweet, stunning girl. She is shy, and may take a bit of time to trust and open up, but is very snack motivated! If you are looking for a beautiful, quiet friend, who won't wake you up in the middle of the night for attention, Sage may be your girl!

Additional adoption info

All adoptions require an adoption application and home check to be pre-approved. Once those are complete, there is an adoption contract and $150 adoption donation in order to complete the adoption and take your kitty home.

As a foster based rescue, all meet and greets must be scheduled in advance; either in the foster's home, or at an adoption event.

More about this rescue

We are a small grassroots rescue based out of Northeast Los Angeles. We focus on reducing suffering through high volume TNR* and street rescue of community cats in Highland Park, Eagle Rock, Glassell, and Cypress Park. All of our rescues come from active TNR locations either as kittens, or friendly adults who have been abandoned. We make sure everyone is fixed, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, and microchipped, as well as nursing them back to health as necessary, before adopting them out to their forever homes.

*Trap Neuter Return is the most effective way to limit the number of cats entering shelters and reduce euthanasia rates
