My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mamba! 🐾🖤

Mamba is a fabulous 7-year-old French Bulldog with a big personality packed into a compact, wrinkly, and oh-so-cute body. With his signature squishy face and expressive eyes, he’s impossible to resist!

Mamba is a confident and affectionate boy who loves being around his people. Whether he’s strutting his stuff on a walk, lounging like royalty, or soaking up belly rubs, Mamba does it all in true Frenchie style.

Looking for a loyal, charming companion with a whole lot of heart and a snorty smile? Mamba is ready to be your new best friend! 🐶💫

You can view our available animals online or by visiting the shelter during regular business hours. Our knowledgeable and compassionate staff are here to guide you through the adoption process, which includes completing an application and having a conversation to ensure you’re fully informed and prepared to welcome a new pet into your home.

If you find an animal on our website that you’re interested in, we kindly ask that you visit the shelter to meet them in person before submitting your application. This helps ensure the best possible match for both you and the animal.

More about this shelter

The Gulf Coast Humane Society is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization dedicated to serving the animals and community of Southwest Florida. We receive no federal, state, or county funding, nor do we receive financial support from the Humane Society of the United States. Instead, our lifesaving work is made possible through the generosity of individual donations, grants, bequests, and community fundraising efforts.

As a no kill shelter, Gulf Coast Humane Society is committed to providing compassionate care for unwanted, neglected, and abandoned animals. We never euthanize due to space constraints or the length of time an animal has been in our care. Our mission is to give every animal the second chance they deserve in a safe and loving environment.
