Mia is an 8 year old Maltipoo and is an "inside" dog. She sleeps in her own dog bed in the kitchen. The household environment has changed from when we first got her. With the 3 toddlers, she now suffers from periodic panic attacks (once every other month). When this occurs, she yelps, pants and will be slow moving for about a week. Once she is through it, she is back to normal (running, playful etc...). She has never shown any aggression towards the kids or the labrador dog we also have. We believe the chaos & noise of everyday is making her anxious and the one parent whom she is closest with is now working longer hours & more days. We truly believe the attacks would stop if she was in a more calm environment with a small family who will give her the love and attention she deserves and needs.
