Buster is a one year old Australian Shepherd. Unfortunately, his family needed to surrender him because they could not keep him from jumping their four foot fence. The owner says he is good with everyone - including children, dogs and cats! He may be a bit shy when you first meet him, but he warms up quickly to you.
Buster has not been around livestock, he has been a family pet.
Buster needs a higher fence to keep him secure in your yard. He's not a fan, like most dogs, of fireworks so it is best to keep him securely inside during firework season. He does use a dog door to go outside and is also house trained.
He is treat-motivated to learn new tricks! Buster is leash trained, knows how to shake hands, sit, and fetches. Buster loves his toys!
Buster's owner kept him up to date on his vaccines, neutered, and microchipped.
All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter.
Please fill out an application if you are interested in this dog or call us today for more information
Because we are an all-volunteer organization, please call ahead to schedule a time for a Meet & Greet so we can ensure a dog handler is available to show you the dog or dogs you are interested in.
