Lila is a true example of resilience and hope, a sweet girl who has overcome a challenging past. When she was first rescued, Lila was in rough shape, being severely mistreated by previous owners. Under the loving care of the team at Border Tails and her foster parent, she has blossomed into a wonderful companion. She adores people and her tail never stops wagging and her body constantly wiggles in delight. Lila is treat-motivated, which makes training fun. Her crate is her safe haven, providing her with the security and comfort she needs. She shows no signs of separation anxiety, making her an easy dog to leave home alone. Lila is working on potty training and as long as she is kept on schedule, she had very few accidents.
Lila has a playful side that truly brings her personality to life. She loves to chase after her toys and gets a huge kick out of battling around ice cubes. She is also a fantastic road trip buddy and loves nothing more than hopping in the car for an adventure! She will need a little boost to get into the car though! She has an allergy to poultry, so her new family must be committed to keeping her diet strictly poultry-free. Lila loves a salad and her favorites are iceberg lettuce, cucumbers, carrots and cauliflower.
Because of her past, Lila would thrive as the only dog in her new home, as she does not mix well with other animals. She is looking for a devoted family who can give her all the love and attention she deserves. To keep her safe and allow her to romp and play freely, a home with a fenced yard would be ideal for her zoomies and games. Lila's journey has been one of transformation, and she is now ready to share her immense love with a forever family. These are the notes from her foster of two months.
DDO Review:
I had the pleasure of taking out Lila for a couple hours today. Despite having a hard life, she is one of the sweetest girls. She’s a very good dog—no potty accidents, great job in the car, never barked, quietly took a nap next to me, while I worked outside. She loves pets and cuddles. Every time I said her name or came near her, Lila’s face lit up and her tail started wagging. She loves pets and cuddles. This was Lila’s first doggy day out and she was a perfect angel. I already miss this sweet girl. Thanks for keeping me company today, Lila!
