My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Update from her foster: "Personality
She's an incredibly sweet dog who enjoys cuddles. She often requests pets by giving you puppy dog eyes or gently raising one--or both--paws to you, which can result in her sitting upright on her back legs. While she's very happy to spend a lot of time napping, the more she gets to know you, the more she opens up and becomes slightly more active. She seems very well-adjusted to strangers, sitting quietly when the doorbell rings or new people come in. She's been fine with both men and women, and mostly has ignored the next-door neighbor's dog when they are both in their respective yards at the same time.

General Habits
She's not the biggest fan of the cold and may need to be bribed with a treat to go outside when there's a lot of snow on the ground. If you're trying to get her to do her business, she's more inclined to do so in an area that's got two or more walls around it. For instance, she prefers areas near fences or buildings. She poops more often than she pees (the former usually 4x per day, the latter more like 2-3 times a day).
When it's warm, she's a much more avid explorer. While I still wouldn't call her a super-energetic dog all the time, she'll zoom around a bit and is jauntier overall.
When she's in the mood to follow people around, she'll often stick to a step or two behind you, which can make it hard to spot her sometimes, but she is endearingly cute about it. She's shown no particular interest in pulling with us so far.
One of her favorite activities is to watch humans cook, and while she'd enjoy a treat or two, she doesn't table surf.
She still seems a bit befuddled by the idea of a Kong and hasn't had much interest in squeaky toys, but we tried an accordion-style koala toy with a crinkle sound effect, and she's been enjoying that a lot recently.
She's not destructive. She hasn't made any attempt to get items off of coffee tables, dig or bite at any furniture, or even particularly harm toys she's been given.
I don't know how much she likes being picked up, necessarily, but she will consent to it without too much of a fuss -- the same as paper-towel baths (we haven't tried a full bath yet). She'll let you lift her paws or touch her mouth without a reaction and seems perfectly fine with car rides, which I think speaks well for vets' visits.
We currently have two beds for her. She seems to prefer the more basic one (flat, rectangular, no sides) in the living room that's nestled in the corner. As a result, you can often hear her tail wag before you see it, because it gently hits the wall.
She's not a very vocal dog, although she's prone to a light, rumbling snore when she sleeps."

Taylor Swift is an energetic, lovable bully-breed girl with a heart full of sweetness. After surviving a cruelty case, she’s learned to be cautious about the world around her. Because of her past, Taylor Swift needs a home without kids, cats, or other dogs—someplace calm, stable, and full of patience.

Once she trusts you, she shines. Taylor Swift has a goofy, affectionate side that comes out in zoomies, cuddles, and happy tail wags. She’s ready for a fresh start with someone who will give her the love, safety, and understanding she truly deserves.
