My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ireland – a beautiful Great Pyrenees with an even bigger heart. Found alongside her best friend Palace, Ireland has been sticking by her side as they heal together. Though she is very skinny and likely abandoned, her gentle, loyal nature remains untouched. Friendly with everyone she meets, Ireland is ready to find a family who will finally give her the love and care she’s been waiting for.

More about this rescue

Wags and Whiskers Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit all-breed, animal rescue organization incorporated in August 2015. We are a primarily volunteer-driven group with years of experience with animals and rescue. Our mission is to rescue, foster, rehabilitate, and rehome abandoned, abused, and unwanted animals.

We rescue animals at risk of euthanasia in shelters, as well as those surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect. We are committed to helping the most needy, as well as the readily adoptable.
