I'M IN FOSTER CARE!
Hello folks- I'm Creature! I'm a juvenile Green Iguana looking for my forever home. I am still quite young, so expect me to grow a lot when you bring me home. Since I can grow up to 6 feet in length, I need to go home with someone who has had experience with large reptiles. I am somewhat flighty, so I would love a patient person who will tame me down, because I do enjoy being held once you've gotten me. I'll need to go home to an enclosure at least 18' X 24' X 36', and will need an enclosure at least 6x6 feet when I'm fully grown! If you're ready to share lots of greens and veggies, and shower me in high humidity, we should get along splendidly!

Since I’m not at the adoption center, you can make arrangements to meet me by emailing a copy of your completed Adoption Application profile (see below) along with a picture of your enclosure to exotics@phs-spca.org. You must be 18 or older to submit a profile.
Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.
You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays).
We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
