Furgie is an adorable 13-week-old, 18-pound Shepherd/Rottweiler mix who’s already faced more than any puppy should. Born into an accidental litter in Bakersfield, she ended up at an overcrowded shelter where she was slated to be euthanized before she even had a chance at life.

Thankfully, a kind family in Thousand Oaks gave Furgie a safe place to land. They fought tirelessly to get her story heard and place her into a wonderful home. When online pleas fell short, they turned to us for help. Shelter Hope stepped in, and we're committed to carrying forward that same dedication and passion as we help Furgie find the warm, loving home she deserves.

Furgie is a gentle, thoughtful puppy with the cutest bunny ears! She's smart, affectionate, and eager to connect. She is ahead of the game! She already knows how to sit and shake. She also walks nicely on a leash, and is wonderful with other dogs and kids. She loves toys, cuddle time, and exploring her surroundings at her own pace.

Despite her uncertain start, Furgie is steady and sweet, with so much love to give. She's ready for her forever home!!
