Intake Reason: Surrendered, change in living situation
Hippity, hoppity and a little bit of floppity! Have you ever considered adding a little spring into your household? Rabbits make wonderful pets and can normally be easily litterbox trained. A rabbit will typically live 7-12 years depending on breed and daily care. Rabbits need to be provided pellets, veggies and limitless hay and water. They should also have a clean and spacious habitat. Daily mental and physical stimulation, including time to free roam out of their enclosure, is a necessity. Rabbits are great pets for older children with parental guidance and supervision. Hop on down to WCHS and meet a beautiful bunny today!

Visit the shelter. We have an application that takes about 15 minutes to fill out once you have found a pet you like. You call back the next day which gives us time to review the application and gives you 24 hours to think about your decision to adopt. You can also complete our on-line application and get approved in advance of finding the perfect companion. Once approved, you are able to adopt an animal the same day.
