My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Blue – Your Real-Life Teddy Bear

Blue is a 7-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix with a heart as big as his 80-pound body. With his stunning blue coat and soft white chest, Blue is as handsome on the outside as he is on the inside. He’s house and crate trained, smart, easygoing, and loves a calm, predictable routine.

While Blue may be sight-impaired, he adapts quickly and navigates his surroundings with confidence. He enjoys slow morning walks in the sunshine, soft beds for afternoon naps, and snuggling up for a Netflix marathon. He’s a mellow boy who’s happiest when he’s near his people, soaking up all the love and cuddles he can get.

Blue is good with other dogs after a polite sniff hello and fits right in with a laid-back pack. He listens well (especially if treats are involved — he never says no to a snack!) and thrives in a peaceful environment where he can feel secure and loved.

He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines, and heartworm negative — ready to go home with his forever family.

If you think you’re in need of a real-life teddy bear to be your new best friend, please complete an application on our website. His foster mom will be in touch to tell you more about this gentle sweetheart.

Additional adoption info

We endeavor to find the best home for each pet in our care. We do home visits on every pet, even if it can only be a virtual visit with pictures and videos from the potential adopter. Most of the time we adopt to people who live close enough for a personal home visit.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We do not have a facility; so meet and greets with potential adopters, pets and current pets are done on an appointment bases; sometimes at the potential adopter's home, or in a neutral location.
