My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Taylor K is a sweet 9-month-old, 30 lb pup who has been patiently waiting for a home since July—and she’s more than ready for her fresh start. She came to the shelter through no fault of her own after her owner’s apartment would not allow her to stay unless she had been on the lease prior to signing, with eviction on the line.

Taylor K is an easy, well-mannered girl who does wonderfully with other dogs and has been going out in playgroups daily for months, consistently doing well. She’s calm and polite, doesn’t react when other dogs lunge at the gate, and is easy to take in and out of her kennel.

She walks nicely on leash with no tugging and enjoys a relaxed stroll. Taylor K often sits quietly with a loose, relaxed body and a wagging tail, and she happily accepts pets and interactions all over. She’s gentle, social, and attentive—she’ll even sit politely for toys! Her favorites include squeaky balls and rope toys, though she’s not too picky.

Taylor K is heartworm negative and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a young dog with a calm, easygoing temperament who already knows how to share space with others.

If you’re searching for a sweet, dog-friendly pup who’s been overlooked for far too long, Taylor K may be the perfect addition to your family. Come meet her and help her finally leave the shelter behind!
