My name is Nestle Meadowood!

Nestle is a senior southern gentleman who is one of the many dogs from Meadow Rescue in Memphis - their caretaker for many many years passed away leaving approx 65 dogs. Walter was an official greeter to the rescue.

Paws New England took in many, mostly the seniors from this group because we just love them.

Nestle is in a foster home now and has done great with humans and the other dogs (some of whom he knows of course).


Nestle is a wonderful companion. He loves to be loved - a true sweetheart!

Nestle would do best with a family who is home a lot and has a dog sibling to keep Nestlé company when they are out running occasional errands. If you are retired or work from home - that would be the perfect situation for Nestle.

We've had his veterinary needs met including vaccines, neuter and all that stuff - he tested positive for heartworm but has gotten treatment. As a senior dog, he may need things in the future so need a family/person who understands that.
