Tyson
Male
Mixed breed
1 year old (12/09/23)
36lbs
Tyson is a lovable pup with a gentle heart and an inspiring story. Originally from Georgia, Tyson has been with Buddy’s Rescue since he was a baby. Adopted as a young pup, he unfortunately found himself back in the rescue through no fault of his own. Along the way, he developed EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency), a manageable condition that simply requires a sprinkle of enzyme powder on his meals to help with digestion. This small step keeps Tyson healthy and thriving. Despite his journey, Tyson’s playful spirit and loving nature shine brightly. He’s a snuggly, happy boy who might even make you laugh with an occasional toot—just part of his charm!
Tyson is still learning to trust new people, which is understandable given his journey. He’s made great strides in his current foster home and is looking for a patient, understanding adopter who he can bond with, and can help him continue to grow. He’s crate-trained but also perfectly content snoozing on his dog bed—or sharing yours if you let him!
Tyson thrives in a calm home, so one without children is best for now. He enjoys playing with other dogs at Buddy’s daycare but will need proper introductions to new dog friends. He hasn’t met any cats yet.
If you’re someone with patience, a big heart, and the desire to give a deserving dog the safe and loving home he’s been waiting for, Tyson just might be your perfect match.
