Hi, I’m Julie — and I’m one lucky little lady!
I’m just a tiny thing who landed in a rural shelter with no fanfare, no fancy bed, and no plan. My time was up. Another rescue almost saved me… but they backed out last minute. I was actually scheduled to die.
But then—plot twist!
✨ 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue said “Not today!” and gave me my FREEDOM RIDE! ✨
Now I’m safe in a loving foster home, snuggling with kind humans and enjoying soft beds, good food, and belly rubs. They say I’m a really really good girl.
But there’s one little thing missing…
I’d LOVE a young pup friend to run, zoom, and play with! My foster fam is full of adorable seniors who prefer naps and soft jazz, and I’m ready for some adventures!

Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt dogs to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not.
A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs.
