Croissant was rescued from a parking lot in the Bronx. He looks so cute with the pattern on top of his head, it looks like a little wig. He loves other cats especially ones that groom him, whenever he sees his foster friends grooming themselves he runs up to them like "clean me too", mostly to his foster friends Bubi and Asanti. He can be a little shy and scared in the beginning but once hes comfortable he will come up to you for love and hang out with you. His foster holds him like a baby and he purrs away. Croissant was born around 5/12/2025.

Once you've filled out an application, we will contact your references and put you in touch with the foster/caregiver of the cat. Once your application is approved, we schedule you to attend a Zoom group seminar on cat care. We invite both novice and experienced alike to attend. Then you would sign the adoption agreement, pay the adoption fee, and make arrangements for the cat to be moved to your home. We always do a home visit which is both reassuring to the cat when it is being introduced and to the foster who has taken care of the cat. Presently we are doing home visits with FaceTime or Zoom to confirm you have secure windows, no toxic plants and a generally safe environment for a cat. The adoption fee is $150 for one cat under 7 years old, $75 for one cat 7 years and older.
All cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia and FIV virus, vaccinated (FVRCP and Rabies vaccines), microchipped, dewormed and spayed/neutered. If you adopt kittens that are too young to be altered, we will arrange the spay/neuter/microchip at a later date at a partner vet.
