Meet this medium haired beauty! She was lucky enough to find her way to a rescuer when she was found abandoned, cowering outside on a cold, blustery day, the day before Thanksgiving. Understandably shaken and nervous at first, Farrah has made remarkable progress. She’s learning to relax, grooms her shiny coat peacefully and accepts petting, slowly opening her heart to human kindness. Farrah’s past remains a mystery, but she bears the marks of hardship, having survived unknown time on the streets. Despite everything she’s endured, she’s finding her way back to feeling safe. She lets you pick her up and hold her, but reacts when a hand moves too quickly towards her. She will need a patient owner who can understand a cat’s behavior and will give her the time and patience she needs. We know that in time, she’ll blossom into the sweetheart we know she can be. She's even learning to play! Farrah was born around 06/24/2025.

Additional adoption info
Once you've filled out an application, we will contact your references and put you in touch with the foster/caregiver of the cat. Once your application is approved, we schedule you to attend a Zoom group seminar on cat care. We invite both novice and experienced alike to attend. Then you would sign the adoption agreement, pay the adoption fee, and make arrangements for the cat to be moved to your home. We always do a home visit which is both reassuring to the cat when it is being introduced and to the foster who has taken care of the cat. Presently we are doing home visits with FaceTime or Zoom to confirm you have secure windows, no toxic plants and a generally safe environment for a cat. The adoption fee is $150 for one cat under 7 years old, $75 for one cat 7 years and older.
All cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia and FIV virus, vaccinated (FVRCP and Rabies vaccines), microchipped, dewormed and spayed/neutered. If you adopt kittens that are too young to be altered, we will arrange the spay/neuter/microchip at a later date at a partner vet.
