She walks beautifully on a leash - no pulling here! - and is easy to get geared up for a stroll. Though she prefers to keep her distance from other dogs, she`s perfectly content to be your one and only pet. (And really, once you meet her, you’ll see she’s all you need!)
In the play yard, Nola enjoys exploring or relaxing on her own, but she lights up when it`s time for pets and treats. She sits like a pro on command and is very treat motivated

Our kennel hours are Monday-Friday 10 am to 4 pm and Wednesday also from 5 pm to 7 pm. We are open Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm and closed on Sunday.

We are an open admission, municipal shelter serving the unincorporated area of Fort Bend County, TX.
We are the county's rabies control authority as well as being their animal shelter. On average, we take in approximately 4,000-5,000 pets per year.
The staff at FBCAS is small but each and every one of us is dedicated to making the stay of the pets in our care as comfortable as possible. Our hearts are in this and with every pet that crosses our threshold.
We are part of the amazing Fort Bend County community and we are always striving to work with our community people and partners to make our shelter the best it can be.
We can always use new volunteers to help us keep our pets happy and healthy while they wait for their forever home.
