Tony Stark is a cute male Black Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd mix puppy who was brought to the HSOV on July 2, 2025 after he and his four siblings (Bucky Barnes, Gamora, Natasha, and Yeleva) were found in the New Matamoras Ohio area. Tony Stark was estimated to have been 10-weeks old at that time.
Tony Stark has a sleek black coat with a few small patches of white on his chest, a long tail, and a sweet puppy face.
Tony Stark weighed 15.6 lbs on July 3rd.
He is available as a foster-to-adopt with an approved HSOV Foster/Adoption Application while he awaits his neuter procedure.

Update: Tony Stark went home with a foster family on July 27, 2025 who plans to adopt him after he is neutered. He weighed 29 lbs that day.

Shelter management reviews applications for approval. If approved, potential adopters will be notified.

All HSOV dogs and cats must be spayed/neutered before being adopted and going to their new home.

Our adoption process includes an adoption application which must be completed and approved by our shelter management. We verify veterinarian references and also approval from landlords if the pet will be housed in rental property. Home visits may also be required prior to adoption. All dogs/cats must be spayed/neutered before being adopted.
Adoption fee for dogs is $150.00 which includes vaccinations, wormer, flea treatment, dog tag, microchip, and spay/neuter.
Adoption fee for cats is $40 and includes vaccinations, wormer, flea treatment, and spay/neuter. Most adult cats (and kittens over 3-months of age) have already been spayed/neutered.
Adoption fees for other species varies.
