Jax is a perfect balance of energy and goofiness. Most importantly, he always ready for his next adventure! Whether it’s a long hike, a game of fetch, or just exploring the backyard, Jax puts his whole heart into it. He is hopeful that his next adventure will be a new family to call his own.

This young man tends to give off the impression that he is a grumpy guy due to his default frown. However, once he gets to know someone he melts into a sweetheart! He will bring you toys to play tug of war with, and if you give him pets he arches his back like a cat. Our volunteer dog walkers and frequent doggie day out participants are always wondering why nobody is asking about their good buddy Jax.

Jax's playful spirit is matched only by his deep loyalty to his people! Jax enjoys time playing on agility equipment, long walks in the woods, and couch time with his buddies. While he isn't a fan of other dogs or of cats, he assures you that his hilarious, goofy and loving personality is enough to fill your heart and home all on his own.
