My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bethy!

Bethy is a 5-year-old, 65 lb brindle beauty with adorable white freckly paws, a squishy face, and the kind of smile that’ll melt your heart. She’s a sweet and silly Pittie/Staffie mix who’s ready to be your next best friend.

Once a discarded, throwaway mama, Bethy is now living her best retired mom life—with her saggy pittie boobs, zero shame, and all the affection to give. She was a staff and volunteer favorite at the shelter (with fan club videos to prove it)!

Bethy has never met a toy she didn’t love. She’s the perfect combo of walking buddy and Netflix-and-chill queen—ready to join you for an outdoor stroll or snuggle up for a cozy night in.

Friendly with people and dog-social, Bethy is a total gem with a heart full of love and a smile for everyone she meets. She’s also a smart cookie and already knows commands like sit, paw, down, and stay!

Things to know about Bethy:

- Snorts like a piglet when excited and while sleeping
- LOVES the two kids (ages 7 & 9) in her foster home
- Fully house trained
- Crate trained
- Enjoys sunbathing in the sunny spot of her foster home or lounging on the deck
- She’s the weighted blanket you didn’t know you needed

Bethy is gentle, goofy, and grateful—and she deserves a home where she’ll never be overlooked again.

So, who’s ready to adopt a snorty, wiggly, snuggly, certified queen?

More about this rescue

PupStarz Rescue is an animal welfare group committed to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs and cats in public shelters at high risk of euthanasia, as well as those in danger of abuse. We are committed to rescuing as many animals as possible, saving over 4,500 dogs and cats since 2015.

PupStarz Rescue is a foster-based rescue, relying on fosters to open their homes and lives to our Animals. Animals in our care receive proper medical care, including alteration, vaccinations, and microchipping.

Following a thorough screening, our animals are placed in loving, responsible, committed forever homes. PupStarz Rescue ensures that adoptions are an appropriate match for both the animal and their new family by educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a furry companion into their lives.

We are committed to the welfare of our "Starz" beyond the adoption process. We maintain open communication with our adopters to ensure a smooth transition, and offer additional support such as positive training techniques.

Founded in 2015, PupStarz Rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)3, no-kill, animal rescue organization.
