***MUST SUBMIT APPLICATION before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thank You for your cooperation***
Please read listings fully to the end before applying for one of our beloved rescues.

WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS.
Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog.

We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes around WA state & Oregon but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA.

Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, PayPal, if using PayPal the potential adopter will have to pay the fees & charges with PayPal.

BBC is very fortunate to be alive as his mum was rescued from a slaughterhouse in China.
She ended up in a slaughterhouse for human consumption & yes you did read that correctly. How & why we will know? What we do know is, she was pulled out of there by our outstanding Chinese rescuer just in time. It’s absolutely soul destroying to think about the horrific situation she ended up in. Working with one of our truly devoted, dedicated & absolutely outstanding Chinese rescuers she rescued BBC’s mum along with many others for us. Without this beloved rescuer going in & getting her out, her fate was a torturous death. She transferred her along with many other sweet souls & got well & they waited to come to the US.
It was determined very early on that she was pregnant & could not come back to the US until she had her babies. We ended up with BBC & his other siblings went to 2 different rescues here in the US.
We did bring his mum back along with her sister & we got both mums loving forever homes.
This is a very extremely expensive situation but we believe every sweet soul such as BBC & his friends deserves to be loved & cherished & given the chance to have a wonderful life.
Now BBC is looking for a special family to cherish him & be patient with him & remember what this beautiful soul has been through & a family that meets all his needs.

BBC was bought back to the USA where he is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find his new loving devoted forever home.

BBC is the most softest gentle soul you will ever meet. This boy is nothing but love & a character.
He is such a sweet & very smart boy his foster family said & has taught himself to go up & down hardwood stairs & he can run fast. He has a cheeky adorable personality. He will talk to you too when he really wants something.
He will be uncertain at first but once he knows you, you are his world.
We cannot stress enough how lovely BBC is & deserves the most loving home & will give him all the love in the world.
This boy is so stunning inside & out & he has come along way since he arrived from China. The reality is he had to learn everything new here. He is so forgiving. He just wants you to love him & he will love you back. He adores being hugged & held because the reality is we are the first real people in his life to show him such true love & affection. He also enjoys being picked up & carried. He looks at his foster mum & she knows he wants to be picked up & then he kisses her.
He adores his foster mum & dad now as they have shown him normalcy & love.

In his foster home he eats a clean raw diet meaning, raw fruits, vegetables, different proteins, grains & different supplements.
He loves his bully sticks & collagen sticks & his treats are homemade for him.
BBC is a good little walker on his harness & leash. BBC is a rescue & will need patience, time & understanding. BBC adores being pampered & doesn’t want you to stop when brushing him, cleaning his eyes, grooming him, he loves it all. He also does extremely well being touched in general & adores receiving love.

Having toys & a warm bed is all new to BBC & we have been excited to change his world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. He is quite a free spirit because he does enjoy going off & doing his own thing or then sometimes he can be found laying with his foster siblings. He loves his foster dad & foster mum & loves for them to pick him up. He adores both of his foster parents & will put his paws on them for love.
BBC has learnt to ride in the car & does well in the car & enjoys a good car ride. He is such an easy & sweet going, loving little lad. With BBC we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely little lad only. Please do not apply with the intent to crate this boy. We are also looking for a forever home for BBC where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them.
Did we mention this boy loves a good outfit too.
BBC is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be very patient with him & understanding.

BBC has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs & enjoys their company. He can be found at times snuggled up to his foster siblings. He absolutely loves to play with his friends so he needs a playful dog in the home. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory for BBC’s new forever home if you have a free standing home.
He will randomly go outside & sun himself but does not like to stay out there for too long.

BBC is now roughly 14.5 lbs & is 4 years old & a male miniture poodle & what he is mixed with we are not sure? He is neutered & microchipped, up to date on his shots including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed. Once these shots expire we only will redo rabies as we do not over vaccinate dogs.

We have spent far more on BBC with bringing him to the US with his travel airfare costs, $2000 alone, bringing him into Seattle, without anything else than his adoption fee comes close to covering.

BBC has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals. We have not had BBC with small children so we do not recommend children, but it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & animals.

We were not there when BBC was conceived but we know who his mum is & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is.

As with all of our rescues & BBC’s friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is BBC potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond.

We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying.

Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting BBC & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit using Zoom to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for BBC who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this lovely little lad.
Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately.

BBC has an adoption fee of $850 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.
