Violetta is a resilient and loving kitten with a heart as big as her purrs. Found in Pontiac after being cruelly thrown from a car, this brave girl miraculously escaped injury and is now thriving in her foster home. Despite her rough start, Violetta has blossomed into a friendly, affectionate companion who adores cuddles, pets, and playtime.

She’s fantastic with kids, loves her toys, and has a special talent for chirping—yes, she talks! Her sweet little meows and chirps are her way of saying “I love you” and “Let’s play!” Violetta is truly the gentlest soul, and her loving nature makes her a joy to be around.

Submit Application

Once you submit an application, one of our dedicated adoption volunteer coordinators will contact you.

2.
Meet the Pet

Some of our kitties are in foster homes and about 40 are at our shelter. So be patient! We may have to schedule a visit at a foster home.

3.
Approve Application

The volunteer adoption coordinator will call your veterinary reference and your personal references. Video home visit too!

At any given time, Ferndale Cat Shelter has at least 150-250 cats and kittens in our care. Most of those kitties are in foster homes while 40-50 may be at our shelter. We love to make the purrfect match for you so you and your kitty will live long and healthy lives together.
