Meet Chance – The Goofy, Loving Helper Ready for His Forever Home!

Chance’s journey began as a stray alongside his sister, Beverly. After a few twists and turns, he’s now thriving in a loving foster home in Connecticut — and wow, has this sweet boy blossomed! With patience, love, and plenty of playtime, Chance is showing everyone what a joyful, loyal, and funny companion he truly is.

Blossoming in Foster Care

Chance has settled beautifully into home life. He’s learned the rhythm of the household, sleeps soundly in his crate through the night, and proudly lets his people know when he needs to go outside. With every day that passes, his confidence grows — and his personality shines even brighter!

He’s affectionate and loves being near his people. Whether that means curling up at your feet while you’re cooking or following you from room to room, he’s always ready to lend a helping paw (and a warm presence).

Chance the Helper: Household Assistant Extraordinaire

Chance has taken his “housemate duties” very seriously!

  • Laundry time? He’s right there, diving into the dryer to retrieve the dryer balls (and happily trading them for a treat).

  • Doing dishes? Expect him to rest on your feet, keeping them warm as you work.

  • Gardening? He’s your enthusiastic digging partner, ready to help you with that next hole!

This boy doesn’t just live in the home — he’s part of the team.

Playtime, Zoomies & All Things Fun

Chance is a bundle of joy and energy! He loves running around the yard, tossing his tennis ball for himself, and doing his best Tigger impression with big, happy bounces.

He’s also a social butterfly with other dogs, loving to wrestle, tumble, and play chase with furry friends who can match his energy and size. (He’s still learning to be gentle with smaller or older dogs — his enthusiasm can be a lot of love all at once!)

Walks, Sniffs & Silly Moments

Chance is doing great on leash walks and loves exploring the neighborhood. He’ll trot happily beside you, tail wagging, stopping to sniff every new scent or chase a falling leaf. Sometimes he’ll even pounce at a branch or patch of grass — just because it looks fun! He’s curious, playful, and always up for a new adventure.

A Goofy, Loving Soul

Chance’s foster family says he’s as goofy as he is affectionate. He loves rolling upside down with all four paws in the air, making silly noises as he plays. He entertains himself with squeaky toys, bones, and anything that makes sound — and he’s an avid chewer in the best way.

He’s also incredibly people-focused. Chance wants to be close, to connect, and to be part of the action. When he meets new people, he can be a bit shy at first in his home, but out on walks he’s friendly and curious — just a young pup still learning that strangers are friends he hasn’t met yet.

Smart, Food-Motivated & Eager to Learn

This clever boy is very food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. He already knows how to “sit” and is learning not to jump when he gets excited. With continued consistency and positive reinforcement, Chance will thrive — he truly wants to please his people.

The Perfect Family for Chance

Chance is ready for his next chapter: a forever home full of love, patience, and playtime. He’d do best with active adopters who will include him in daily adventures, keep up his training, and appreciate his silly, big-hearted nature. Another playful dog companion would be a bonus! In return, Chance will fill your home with laughter, cuddles, goofy antics, and unwavering love.

Don’t wait — apply to adopt Chance today and let this sweet boy’s happily-ever-after begin with you!
