Hello there! My name is Berton, and I'm an adorable 2 year old Staffordshire Terrier mix who is ready to bring boundless joy and love into your life. I'm known for my playful and curious nature. I love exploring the world around me, and every new discovery is an exciting adventure. I'm a social butterfly, and I adore spending time with my human and canine friends. I'll wag my tail with delight whenever you're around, and I'm always up for cuddles and snuggles. I'll be the loyal companion you've always dreamed of, ready to share your good times and comfort you during the bad. I'm looking for a loving forever home where I can be cherished and spoiled with affection. An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

Go meet their pets

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
