Arizona is a sweet, stunning 8-month-old mixed breed with unique markings. She's mostly white, accented by a striking black mask on half of her face and a touch of black on her ears.... bearing a striking resemblance to the famous "RCA dog." And look closely at her black nose, you'll find the sweetest pink markings—a little extra "kiss" 💋 from nature!
Arizona has soft, floppy ears... unless the wind is blowing💨! She says the photos with ears up is just the breeze giving her a temporary makeover🩷. Arizona is a medium size 39 lbs, walks good on leash and seems to be potty trained! 🏆
Holidays are over, gifts opened and New Year’s resolutions are made! Arizona and pals hope your resolution was to save a life.... giving this beautiful, brave girl the forever home she’s dreamt of since she was a tiny pup in that ditch.

The shelter is located at 589 Coolwater Drive in Bastrop Texas. Please come meet our pets Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm

The Bastrop Animal Control organization became a reality in 1998. We've grown since then and continue to do so as Bastrop County grows. Currently, we have 3 separate buildings containing a total of 90 large indoor/outdoor kennels and 8 play yards. We have 30 indoor cat kennels. We also have a 3 room cattery, that enables cats to live together in colony type environments until they find their forever home. If you have ever worked with or adopted a shelter pet, you know just how much they crave the attention and love we and our volunteers can provide and their eternal gratitude when they find their forever home at last.
