FOREVER HOME NEEDED:
Welcome Cricket! She is an extremely shy, sweet, 5 ½ month old, 8 lb, Yorkie Terrier mix who is looking for a quiet, patient home that is full of love.

Cricket is a sweet dog who has been through a lot in her short life and is very shut down. She will need a patient adopter who can give her the time and space she needs to come out of her shell and feel comfortable in a new environment. She would do best in a quiet, standalone home outside of the city with a with a securely fenced yard as she can be a flight risk. Due to her shy nature, she would do best in an adult-only home with no children.

She does well with other dogs and currently lives in a foster home with other dogs. While can live well in a home with other dogs but she could also be fine as an only dog soaking up all of the love and attention.

Cricket is working on potty training in her foster home and is pad trained. She will need grooming to keep her coat in good condition. She is quiet and well-behaved and will make a great companion for the right person or family. She has a lot of love to give and is just looking for the right person to give it to.

Cricket is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Interested in adopting one of our rescue dogs? Here are the steps to a successful adoption:

1) Review the dog's picture and bio;

2) Fill out an Adoption Application

3) We will screen your application* and call you to tell you more about the dog,

4) A Meet and Greet will be set up. All members of your household (dogs and humans) must attend the meet and greet;

5) If you are approved for adoption, pay the adoption fee, sign the adoption contract and receive the dog's health records;

6) Love and adore your new dog!

Our organization - Forever Home Dog Rescue - values your privacy. Any and all application information is private and will not be shared outside of our organization with ANY other party. After a decision is made on a dog, all applicant and adopter personal information will be disposed of by shredding. We do not retain any application information past adoption in an effort to preserve the security and privacy of applicants. Vaccination, microchip and medical records of adopted and current dogs can be accessed under the dogs name and month of adoption.

Forever Home Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We receive dogs from owner surrenders and overcrowded shelters. All of the dogs are housed in private, loving foster homes or a kennel in the greater Seattle area. We assess their behaviors and health and help them relax during their transition to a forever home. The dogs remain in foster care or in our kenneling facility until they are adopted. All of the dogs are/or will be spayed or neutered, microchipped and are current on routine vaccinations.

Forever home dog rescue is not a shelter and thus you cannot see the dogs without an appointment.

We need foster homes! Thinking about adopting a dog, but not sure yet about which breed or if you're ready for the long-term commitment? Consider becoming a foster parent. A foster dog placement can be anywhere from two weeks to several months. We provide any dog supplies you may need and cover all necessary medical costs for your foster dog. You provide the love and attention and bring the dogs to adoption events at least twice per month.
