My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dixie is a beautiful chocolate labrador retriever who is 5 yrs old. She's in her prime, and is very healthy, up to date on all her shots, spayed, and heartworm negative. Dixie has a beautiful glossy chocolate coat, and a very large frame, weighing around 100 lbs. Dixie's owner suffered from a medical disorder that required his long-term care in a healthcare facility. We offered to help find Dixie a new home. Dixie is a committed companion, bonding quickly with her new foster mom. Dixie's life's goal is to be with and near her human at all times. Dixie is perfectly behaved in the house, and isn't hyper or wild at all. She does prefer that her human companion accompany her outside "when nature calls," and doesn't like being outside by herself at all. Dixie also likes to accompany her "human" room to room in the house, and is a perfect companion and best friend. Dixie gets along with other dogs, and is friendly with all people. Dixie's adoption fee is $475; to apply or for more information, please email sallymcaninch@gmail.com To apply for adoption, please go to www.labrescuenetwork.com and submit an online application.
