My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Epsy – Your New Best Friend

Epsy is the definition of love wrapped in fur. Rescued from the reservation along with her puppies (who are now thriving with another rescue), Epsy is ready for her own fresh start and forever home.

This sweet, affectionate girl is as gentle as they come. She lives for belly rubs, soft cuddles, and simply being near her people. Epsy has a condition with her nails that precludes her from walking long distances though she does enjoy her daily walks around the neighborhood. With her low energy and easygoing nature, Epsy is the perfect companion for relaxed days – whether you're watching movies on the couch or enjoying some sunshine in the yard.

Epsy isn’t just lovable – she’s the most lovable. Her calm spirit and kind heart make her a wonderful match for a laid-back home where she can soak up affection and return it tenfold. If you're looking for a loyal, soft-souled pup to be your cozy sidekick, Epsy’s your girl.

Come meet her and fall in love.

Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.

If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.

HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/

When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.

You could be a life saver!

More about this rescue

United Animal Friends (UAF) is a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit group founded in 2003. Our mission is to provide rescue programs and services to animals and those who care for them. In addition to rescuing, spaying and neutering, fostering, and finding homes for dogs and cats, UAF provides many services for residents of Yavapai County and their pets. Our Spay/Neuter Certificate Program, Community Pet Food Bank and Emergency Medical Program help hundreds of people and pets each year.
