Meet Louie the Labra-doodle: A Ball-Obsessed, Kid-Dodging, Male Diva of All Doodles!
Louie is a Doodle, but not just any doodle. Oh no, he’s a premium mix of two royally different dog breeds: a Labrador (the water-loving, hunting fiend who’s all about getting dirty and chasing things) and a Poodle (an exceptionally intelligent, slightly snobbish, and all-around canine diva). The result? One very opinionated, ball-obsessed, not-a-fan-of-kids, occasionally dramatic fluffball named Louie. â¨
At 6 years old and 30 pounds soaking wet, Louie is ready to grace a new home where the only humans are mature (or at least older kids who know better than to get in his personal space). He’s NOT about that chaos life—small humans? Too much noise, too many fast moves. Louie’s more of a “sit back, relax, and watch the world go by” kinda guy.
Here’s what Louie really loves:
Fetch: Louie is all about the ball—he’ll chase it, retrieve it, and look at you like you owe him for that perfect throw. Seriously, you could have a private tennis ball session with this guy all day, and he wouldn’t complain (as long as the ball keeps coming).
Diva Vibes: Louie’s got the intelligence of a Poodle mixed with the charisma of a dog who knows he’s extra. Whether it’s napping on the couch or giving you the side-eye when things aren’t up to his standards, Louie’s not afraid to let you know when he’s not impressed. âï¸
Lap hog: Your lap is his throne. Don’t even think about getting up without warning. If you’ve got a couch, prepare for Louie to claim it for himself. He’s a master of lap snuggling, so bring your blanket and prepare to have your personal space invaded. ï¸
No Kids, Please: Louie’s not about that kid life. He prefers a calmer environment where no one’s chasing him or trying to pick him up without permission. If you’ve got older kids who know how to treat a dog with respect, maybe they’ll get a pass. But no promises.
Dog Selective: Louie’s a little picky with other dogs. He’s got to be in the right mood and with the right canine companion to share his space. No drama allowed—just good vibes only.
On top of all that, Louie is vaccinated, neutered, and ready to find his forever home, where he can be the center of attention (as he deserves). He’ll warm your lap, chase the ball, and share his thoughts on weather patterns—because, really, what’s more important than the forecast?
So, if you're looking for a ball-chasing, couch-loving, ball-of-adorable, and occasionally diva-ish companion, Louie the Labradoodle is your guy!
Apply to adopt Louie with United Doberman Rescue at www.uniteddobermanrescue.org. But remember—no kids (unless they understand the art of respecting a dog’s boundaries). If you can keep up with his fetch game and don’t mind a little doggie diva attitude, Louie is waiting for you to roll out the red carpet!
