My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Praline is a fun-sized mixed breed adult, looking for a quiet home with a yard. She came from New Mexico, where she was put on the euthanasia list due to overcrowding in the shelter. She had a litter of 2-month-old puppies at that time, and they were taken to a different rescue that left Praline behind.

She is shy at first, and might not make the best first impression, but once she trusts you, Praline is a very sweet, silly girl. She enjoys rides in the front seat of the car, and romping around the yard, and knows to get in her kennel on command. She is potty trained, and quiet for hours in her kennel. Praline likes all other dogs, and would do best in a home with adults only. She can be timid on leash and in the outside world, and would enjoy a home where she doesn't have to go too many scary places and can enjoy the company of her trusted people and dog friends in the house and yard. Praline loves snacks and toys, and sitting on the couch and once she warms up to you she will be the perfect companion.

More about this rescue

At Wild West Pet Rescue and Transport, our mission is to relocate pets from the saturated areas of New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah, to areas where there are more opportunities for adoption. We provide safe, compassionate, and effective rescue and transportation services for animals in need. We strive to find loving homes for abandoned, neglected, or displaced pets, focusing on those most at risk of euthanasia and in need of medical care. Through collaboration with shelters, volunteers, and local organizations, we aim to reduce the number of homeless animals and advocate for their well-being.
