My name is Effie!

Hello there! I'm Effie. I am a seven month old puppy girl who is very social. You can most certainly call me a social butterfly because that fits me perfectly! I love love love people so much! I like to lay in your lap, give you kisses, follow you everywhere, do what you're doing, and just generally be part of the action of the family. I am just a puppy so I have some learning to do but I am already pretty well behaved so it should be a snap to finish up my training on great manners. I sit nicely. I will wait if you want me to. I can walk decent on a leash already. I am well on my way to being the dog who is the envy of everyone in the neighborhood!

I am great with other dogs and very friendly. I meet people and dogs easily. I give kisses to dogs too! I do like to dig sometimes but when you say "nuh uh" I stop and mind you. But let's remember that I'm still a puppy even though I'm already 45 pounds. I've got some growing left in my but I am a puppy so digging in the yard might happen. I also adore the sofa so I will jump up on the sofa to snuggle you. If that isn't okay with you then we'll have to have a discussion about it so I can change your mind! Because I am very snuggly! And cozy and loving. 

Well, I'm about to wrap this up because I am going to play. Then nap. Then have supper. Then snuggle with my caretakers at Desert Haven. I'd rather be cuddling with you though! Come to meet me and let's get this snuggle session started! Love, Effie
