My name is Keilani- In Foster!

Hi! I'm Keilani! I'm an approximately 4 year old, female, American Shepherd mix. I was found roaming around the field next to Rockwall Commons on Ridge Road on 07/31/2025. Sadly, no owner came forward but I am optimistic and excited to find my furr ever family! I am very friendly and very respectful of my belongings. I walk well on a leash and appear to be potty trained! I am doing well with basic training commands like sit and heal but RAC is unsure if I have ever had any formal training. Once I am adopted, I may need assistance in reinforcing any basic commands/house training. I have done well with other dogs however, If you have another pet in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters, and heartworm negative. I am currently being fostered in a home with a family and do require an approved online adoption application to schedule meet and greets as well as for adoption. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
