Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Flare 🐾
Flare is an 8-month-old Tabby Domestic Shorthair who has been waiting far too long for his happily ever after. Found as a stray 142 days ago, this sweet boy has spent much of his young life in the shelter—and he truly deserves a loving home and family of his own. Flare does wonderfully with other cats and has shown himself to be friendly and easygoing with every feline friend he’s met. While we don’t yet know how he does with dogs or children, his gentle nature suggests he could adjust well with proper introductions. Flare is litter box trained, making him an easy addition to a home. Since his background is unknown, we’re still learning about him, but what we do know is that he is ready to leave the shelter behind and start his next chapter. He weighs about 9 pounds and is up to date on vaccinations, rabies vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, so he’s fully prepared for adoption. Flare doesn’t need to wait any longer—he’s ready for the best home and the best family ever. If you’re looking for a young, cat-friendly companion with so much love to give, Flare may be the perfect match. 🧡🐱
Flare's Adoption Fee is Fully Sponsored in memory of Linda JakoDogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
