This handsome Husky mix may look a bit older with his distinguished grey muzzle, but he's likely around 6-7 years old and full of life! Rider's journey to us was a challenging one; he was running loose for over a week near the Dunes ATV rental and Mobile Park by Spinreel, evading many attempts to catch him. Finally, on July 14, 2025, we were able to bring him to safety.
When we found him, Rider's paw pads were severely torn, he was dehydrated, and covered in fleas and worms. Despite his ordeal, this boy is incredibly sweet! He's never met a stranger, and he's wonderful with other dogs and kids – he was simply scared.
Rider is now healing up nicely and has truly blossomed. He's a "talker" and loves to hold conversations with people he's excited to see. He absolutely enjoys doggy daycare, showing his playful side. He has been vaccinated, given flea medication, and dewormed.
Since no owner has come forward by July 20, 2025, Rider is now available for adoption! He is sweet as pumpkin pie and is going to make someone an amazing, loving companion.

We are a small 501c3 rescue and rehabilitation center for dogs. We do run a dog training business as well as boarding and doggy daycare so an appointment is necessary to ensure we are available to show you the dogs.
