Doofenshmirtz is not a doctor, but much like Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz, he is quirky! Doof’s estimated DOB is 8/14/24. He is a Dwarf Lionhead mix. He was found dumped along with several other rabbits. He arrived covered in ticks and bite marks. He also has some quirky behaviors that so far have not been progressive. The vets are unsure of the cause. He may just be a quirky dude! He will “stargaze” as though he is looking up at something we can’t see and continue to look up until he falls backwards. He was tested for E. cuniculi and it was negative. He has been given a current clean bill of health and will be available for adoption after 9/1 once he is fully vaccinated.
*Many of our animals are also available for fostering including foster-to-adopt options. If you are interested in fostering, please complete our online foster application. If interested in adoption, please complete our online adoption application. Both links can be found at linktr.ee/thesqueaks.

More about this rescue
USQKS is a foster-based 501c3 small animal rescue & sanctuary.
Our History:
Before USQKS, our founder worked in active Guinea Pig Rescue. From there, the active Small Animal Rescue journey started with a… mouse! From there, the journey to becoming a Small Animal Rescue & Sanctuary expanded to hamsters, gerbils, rats and more. That journey then led to chinchillas and last, but not least, domesticated rabbits!
