Euphrates, named after the ancient river, felt like he was swimming upstream earlier in kittenhood. He arrived at our home very nervous and scared, says his foster mom. But with lots of love and patience from her, now hes the perfect mix of calm, curious, and energetic! He especially enjoys batting at wand toys, curling up for naps in a sunbeam or with his sister, Tigris, or receiving attention on his own terms. He especially enjoys chin scratches. He'll need someone with patience to help him continue building confidence and trust. But trust us: This handsome tabby boy is more than worth it. Can Euphrates go with the flow with you?

Whiskers TNR of Warren County aims to improve the quality of life for the county’s stray, dumped and feral cats. We also help responsible pet owners with expenses related to having their cat spayed or neutered. Whiskers provides educational information to increase public awareness of the need to better care for and prevent cats from becoming homeless. We encourage adoption and help strengthen animal rescue services throughout Warren County.

Whiskers TNR of Warren County supports humane education programs for the public and encourages respect and compassion for all animals. We strive to make a difference in the community, one cat at a time.

Whiskers TNR of Warren County is a corporation in the state of Iowa and is ruled by a board of directors. Whiskers is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity. This means that your donation is deductible on your annual income taxes. Whiskers TNR became organized and tax exempt in June of 2016.
