This beautiful 4-year-old tabby and white girl with stunning green eyes is looking for a second chance at forever. Layla was adopted a few years ago, but sadly found herself back in the local shelter after her family had to surrender her.
Understandably, Layla is a bit reserved at first, but beneath that quiet exterior is a gentle soul who just wants to feel safe and loved again. She’s all about the simple pleasures—mealtime, cozy naps, and the occasional window view.
With her thick, plush coat, Layla will need regular brushing (which she enjoys once she’s comfortable!). A calm home where she can settle in at her own pace would be the perfect fit.

The Humane Society of Davie County is a non-profit 501c3 group seeking to make a difference in the lives of animals in Davie County and surrounding areas. The Humane Society obtained tax-exempt status in late 1998 and since then has endeavored to improve conditions for animals at the local animal shelter, raise awareness in the community about the need of spay/neuter of animals, and place numerous previously unwanted animals into loving homes. The Humane Society’s long-term goal is to eliminate the overpopulation of dogs and cats in Davie County.
