Meet Cindy! This petite 3-year-old cutie is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly, the best of both worlds! Cindy is a total love bug who lives for head scratches… though breakfast might be her favorite part of the day! She’s always the first to greet staff in the morning, often spinning in happy little circles when her food arrives.
Cindy came to us with a litter of kittens and, despite her young age, was an amazing mama. Now that her babies have all found homes, she’s one of the last still waiting, and she’s more than ready for her own forever family. After all that hard work as a mom, Cindy is ready to be the center of attention!

More about this rescue
The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina's mission is to serve as a safe haven for homeless and neglected pets and act as a resource to the community. By educating the public about issues pertaining to animals, we feel that we can work towards the elimination of over breeding of dogs and cats and teach owners to be responsible pet owners. At the same time, we hope to facilitate adoption of pets to good homes so that we can allow more unwanted animals to find a temporary home with us.
