My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a soulful sidekick with the heart of a poet, the head of a linebacker, and the snuggle game of a weighted blanket? Meet Eddie, our big-headed, big-hearted miracle.

At just 2 years old, Eddie has lived through more than most dogs ever should. Once tethered on the streets of Skid Row and used as a bait dog, he’s now safe, healing, and thriving in his loving foster home. Through it all, Eddie has remained gentle, grateful, and ready to love.

He’s a calm, affectionate, intuitive boy who bonds deeply with his people. Whether you’re feeling down and need a quiet listener or want a buddy for walks and Netflix marathons, Eddie is your guy.

Personality:
• Loyal and soulful
• Cuddly, calm, and intuitive
• Wiggles his butt when happy
• Loves being outside in the sun, at the lake, or relaxing with his people
• Plushie toy lover with a big, blocky head and an even bigger heart

Dog Friendly?
Eddie enjoys the company of other dogs, but due to past trauma, he can be selective. He may do best as the only dog in the home for now, but with time and patient introductions, he could potentially befriend a calm, respectful companion.

Why Eddie?
Because he’s love wrapped in resilience.
He’s a chonky hunk with a plushie toy heart.
He’s the kind of dog who changes you.
