That’s Mike’s reality right now. Toys can’t be left in his kennel — it’s a safety risk — so he spends most of his day just waiting. Waiting for that moment when Scott takes him to the yard, where squeaky toys and tug-of-war make him light up with joy.
At just 3 years old and about 60lbs, Mike deserves more than waiting. He deserves a home where toys aren’t on a timer, where fun and love aren’t limited to 20 minutes a day. He deserves all the playtime. We would love to get him into a foster home so that we can learn more about this dude to help him find his perfect forever home!

CARE STL welcomes adopters to either come by the shelter or fill out an adoption application online to save some time at the shelter. The purpose of this application is to gather information about your home, pets, and general lifestyle to help our Match-Makers determine if the pet you wish to adopt is a good fit for both you and the pet.
